Characteristics of people who are prone to having double eyelids removed
Hello, I'm Ryutaro Natsume, an impression designer/cosmetic surgeon.

Some people retain the implant for more than 10 years, while others see it relapse in less than a year.
If you're going to take the time to bravely undergo buried sutures and take the time for downtime, you want them to last as long as possible.
This time, we will explain what type of people are more likely to have their buried sutures come out and introduce ways to prevent this.
The principle of buried double eyelids is to create a fold in the double eyelid line using a ball of thread.
The more stress is placed on the ball of thread when opening and closing the eyes, the more likely it is to come off.
① Thick skin on the eyelids

The skin of the eyelids is thinner on the eyelash side and thicker on the brow side.
If the skin where the double eyelid folds is thick, it will be more likely to come off.
Not only do they have naturally thick skin, but if they want a wide double eyelid and the skin is thicker on the eyebrow side, the implants are more likely to come off.
②High in fat
If fat gets caught when creating the fold, it will create resistance when opening the eyelid and make it more likely to come off.
3. Eyes are not open properly
If your eyes are not naturally open, your ability to create double eyelids will be weak, and even with buried sutures you may not be able to create beautiful double eyelids.
In that case, the double eyelids tend to disappear quickly.
In this case, additional procedures will be required to open the eyes and create double eyelids.
For mild cases, we recommend a non-incision treatment called the MT method, and for moderate to severe cases, we recommend an incision surgery.
④ Rub your eyes well
If you have a habit of rubbing your eyes due to hay fever or atopic dermatitis, the lenses are more likely to fall off.
I think you have the type that is prone to eyelid inflammation, so when hard tissue called granulation tissue forms around the lint ball due to inflammation, it can cause the lint ball to feel like a lump on the surface.
Therefore, when you feel itchy, it is important to control the itching by using anti-itch eye drops, or if the itching is caused by dryness, by moisturizing your eyes.

What to do if the burial is likely to come off
In cases ①, ②, and ④, the ball of thread is likely to come off, so it is important to make multiple balls of thread so that you can hold on to them even if one comes off.
The recently popular natural adhesion method uses a single thread, so if it breaks, the wound will completely return to its original state.
So I personally think it's not suitable for this type of situation.
You should choose a buried suture method that creates a double eyelid by stitching multiple threads at different points or crossing them, so that even if one thread comes off, the remaining threads will maintain the double eyelid line.

Summary
This time, we explained what type of people are more likely to have their buried suture treatment removed.
Be especially careful if your eyelids are thick and your double eyelids are wide.
The way the buried suture threads are fastened can also make them last longer.
If the lashes keep coming off or if internal treatment is required to create double eyelids, we also offer incision surgery.
