PROFHILO® is a high-concentration hyaluronic acid preparation that combines high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The two types of hyaluronic acid activate fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and fat cells that form the firmness and elasticity of the skin, and promote the increase of collagen and elastin, giving the skin volume. PROFHILO® is characterized by its ability to promote cell reconstruction from the deep layers of the skin, aiming to improve skin quality naturally. It is manufactured using NAHYCO™, a patented heat treatment method developed exclusively by IBSA, an Italian company, and is also known as the next generation of hyaluronic acid and the third injectable agent.
What is the difference between hyaluronic acid preparations for skin care and sculpting purposes?
Profilo is a hyaluronic acid preparation for skin aging care, that is, skin development. It has high fluidity, and when injected, it diffuses to the surrounding area and activates skin cells. It is characterized by its ability to reconstruct (remodel) aged skin from the ground up.
In contrast, hyaluronic acid injections for sculpting purposes are a procedure in which hyaluronic acid is injected directly into problem areas to improve wrinkles and nasolabial folds or to create contours. The injected hyaluronic acid remains in the injection site and improves the treatment area.
Therefore, compared to hyaluronic acid injections, Profile is a revolutionary treatment that achieves a more natural youthful look.
Profilo's unique BAP injection method
To inject Profiler, we use the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Point) injection method recommended by IBSA.
The BAP injection method is a unique injection method by Profile, which injects the drug into 1 locations on each side of the face and 3 locations on the neck, focusing on the lower 5/10 of the face while avoiding large blood vessels and nerves. Profile spreads out over a 2cm square area from the injection site, spreading the effect, and is expected to have an effect on the entire face and neck, such as reducing wrinkles and sagging, and improving firmness and elasticity. Profile's unique feature is that it can reconstruct the entire skin with a minimum number of injection locations.

First generation: Hyaluronic acid injection (injecting a highly viscous hyaluronic acid preparation to pull the area upwards)
Second generation: Hyaluronic acid lift (injecting hyaluronic acid preparations with a method that can produce a lifting effect similar to that of thread lift)
Third generation: Profilo (stimulates autologous tissue to increase collagen and elastin)
This treatment is not used to give volume to specific areas, but to improve the skin from the root. Unlike general hyaluronic acid preparations, Profiler's unique feature is that it acts specifically on the deep skin tissue and fat layer, aiming to repair and reconstruct the elasticity of the skin structure lost due to aging. It is a bio-remodeling treatment that promotes skin aging care.
■Also effective for treating age-related wrinkles on the neck and back of the hands
Profile is suitable for anti-aging care of the neck as well as the face. The neck is an area where aging is easily seen, with deep and fine horizontal wrinkles, loss of firmness, and sagging skin. There are not many treatments suitable for anti-aging care of the neck, as conventional hyaluronic acid injections tend to cause unevenness and thread lifts are not very effective. In that regard, Profile can be injected into 10 places on the neck to reconstruct the skin of the neck and décolleté, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
In addition, Profile injections can also be performed on the back of the hand. Like the neck, the back of the hand is one of the areas that easily show signs of aging, as the skin thins with age and bones and blood vessels become more visible. Injecting 1 points on the back of the hand (dorsal of the hand) creates natural firmness and improves the aging of the hand.
■Less likely to cause allergies than conventional hyaluronic acid preparations
Compared to conventional hyaluronic acid preparations, Profile is less likely to cause allergies. This is because Profile does not use a cross-linking agent. A cross-linking agent is an additive that stabilizes the product. Hyaluronic acid injection preparations contain a cross-linking agent to slow down absorption and decomposition in the body so that the drug remains at the injection site for as long as possible. Although rare, there have been reported cases of allergic reactions caused by cross-linking agents.
In contrast, Profilo uses a patented technology called NAHYCO™ to combine low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. It does not contain any crosslinking agents or other chemicals or biological agents. Therefore, it has a lower incidence of allergies compared to hyaluronic acid preparations for modeling purposes.

02 Preparation before treatment
Profile treatment is performed with all make-up removed. You may use the facial cleanser and cleansing agents provided at our clinic.
03 Treatment
The injection site will be marked before the injection. The injection site will be cooled to reduce pain. The procedure takes about 15 minutes. Anesthesia can be provided upon consultation, so please consult in advance if you are worried about pain.
04 Aftercare
After the treatment, you can put on makeup and go home. If you are concerned about pain or swelling after the treatment, please feel free to contact us.
