As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Uoya has been performing scar treatment, ptosis, and skin cancer surgeries, while also gaining experience as a cosmetic surgeon at Tokyo Cosmetic Surgery.

 

Throughout his career, Dr. Uoya has often worked alongside orthopedic surgeons, engaging significantly in anti-aging treatments for middle-aged and elderly patients. Through this experience, he has learned that focusing too much on localized beauty can disrupt the overall balance when viewed holistically. Therefore, he emphasizes the importance of proposing balanced and healthy anti-aging care by looking at the overall picture.

 

Humans experience skin sagging, but internally, they undergo skeletonization, moving closer to a skeletal appearance. Therefore, treatments often involve injecting hyaluronic acid or fat to restore former fullness.
For treatments around the eyes and mid-face, Dr. Uoya aims to reuse as much of the patient’s fat as possible, restoring fullness and roundness to the cheeks by viewing the entire face.
He also performs scar revision surgeries to make concave scars, step scars, and scars not aligned with wrinkles less noticeable.
