A dual-specialty doctor with a background in plastic surgery, bridging cosmetic surgery and ophthalmology. At the university hospital, he performed numerous high-difficulty cases, primarily focusing on eye and facial bone surgeries, cultivating precise techniques grounded in anatomy. He prioritizes achieving both aesthetic beauty and functional safety, offering customized treatments around the eyes that incorporate ophthalmological expertise. He actively utilizes not only incisional surgery but also non-invasive procedures like hyaluronic acid injections. By carefully assessing each individual's condition and unique appeal, he provides bespoke treatments that guide patients toward naturally harmonious, well-defined eyes.

Hello, I'm Ryutaro Natsume, a plastic surgeon who shapes impressions!

Hyaluronic acid injections, essential for creating a favorable impression.

Using the BIANCA Hyaluronic Acid Method, which delivers noticeable results with minimal injection volume, we provide beautiful, natural-looking results immediately after treatment.

You may have heard on social media or elsewhere that ”it swells when you're feeling unwell” or ”it turned into a lump after a while.”

This time, we'll explain the causes and countermeasures!

・”Swelling when feeling unwell”

If you've ever experienced a hangover or felt unwell, you may have noticed swelling in your face or legs. This happens when fluid leaks out of blood vessels and causes tissue to swell.

Hyaluronic acid readily absorbs water, making it more prone to swelling. This effect is particularly noticeable when larger amounts are injected.

Generally, swelling tends to subside as your health improves, but taking a small dose of oral steroids can sometimes speed up the recovery period.

If the area is red and swollen, oral antibiotics may be prescribed to address the possibility of infection.

The amount of hyaluronic acid injected may also be a factor, so if you're concerned, dissolve it first and then use about half the amount of another product to achieve a solid shape.New formulation NEAUVIAWe recommend re-injection.

For such individuals, the BIANCA Hyaluronic Acid Method is highly recommended, as it delivers noticeable results with minimal injection volume.

・”After a while, it became a lump.”

Medically speaking,Delayed noduleIt is a type of allergic reaction.

Delayed nodules caused by hyaluronic acid injections may appear 3 to 4 months after the procedure.

When people think of allergies, they often think of food or hay fever, but these are classified as Type I allergies, which involve an immediate reaction upon exposure to the allergen.

Delayed-type nodules are classified as Type IV allergies, a condition where tissue called granulation tissue hardens as a result of inflammation occurring gradually over a long period of time.

Treatment options include hyaluronic acid dissolution, oral steroids, and local steroid injections.

So why does this reaction occur?

The cause is thought to be an allergic reaction to BDDE, a cross-linking agent found in many hyaluronic acid preparations.

Hyaluronic acid is naturally abundant in the body, and because it is so compatible with the body, it is quickly absorbed when injected externally.

The hyaluronic acid used in recent skin-enhancing injections is this type (known as non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid). Since it contains no crosslinking agents, it does not cause allergic reactions.

However, to create a shape that requires durability and strength, we process the hyaluronic acid molecules to form cross-links between them (this is the role of the cross-linking agent BDDE). This is cross-linked hyaluronic acid.

A higher proportion of BDDE is associated with a greater likelihood of allergies. The average proportion is considered to be around 4-12%, and products from manufacturers boasting high market share fall within this range.

The formulation called Restylane contains only about BDDE1%.and,Less likely to cause allergic reactionsIt has been reported.

AndNew formulation NEAUVIABDDE is not used.

It uses PEG as a crosslinking agent, and amazinglyNo cases of delayed-type allergy have been reported since the start of clinical trials in 2012 to the present.

Hyaluronic acid itself is said to have excellent strength and durability!

We have discussed complications following hyaluronic acid injections up to this point.

AndNEAUVIA delivers solid results while being safe for long-term use.I hope you understand.

It also features high heat resistance,Results last longer even after receiving RF high-frequency or HIFU treatments post-injection.I will do so.
