Surgical Tear Trough Correction
Create a tear trough groove
A small incision is made in the conjunctiva behind the eyelid, and sutures are placed to create a groove, similar to the buried suture technique.
The formation of a groove prevents hyaluronic acid injected into the tear trough from flowing downward, enabling the creation of a plump, defined tear trough.
Personally, I recommend combining this surgical technique with hyaluronic acid when performing surgical tear trough augmentation.

No incision is made in the skin, so there are no scars and no stitches to remove.
Downtime is comparable to double-buried sutures, with swelling and bruising lasting about a week. After a month, the swelling will completely subside, leaving you feeling refreshed.
◯Create tear troughs
The tear trough is actually caused by the orbicularis oculi muscle thickening near the eyelashes.
Make an incision near the eyelashes, then incise the orbicularis oculi muscle toward the lower part. Suture the orbicularis oculi muscle so that the layers overlap.

If the volume is still insufficient, fat can be harvested from other areas and transplanted. However, this carries the risk of creating asymmetry and is not highly recommended.
