Must-Read Before Eye Area Treatment! Avoid Postponing Your Procedure Due to Conjunctivitis or Skin Issues
A dual-specialty doctor with a background in plastic surgery, bridging cosmetic surgery and ophthalmology. At the university hospital, he performed numerous high-difficulty cases, primarily focusing on eye and facial bone surgeries, cultivating precise techniques grounded in anatomy. He prioritizes achieving both aesthetic beauty and functional safety, offering customized treatments around the eyes that incorporate ophthalmological expertise. He actively utilizes not only incisional surgery but also non-invasive procedures like hyaluronic acid injections. By carefully assessing each individual's condition and unique appeal, he provides bespoke treatments that guide patients toward naturally harmonious, well-defined eyes.
Hello,Image Designer/Plastic Surgeon Ryutaro Natsumeis

We appreciate you taking time out of your precious days off to visit our clinic, and for procedures requiring downtime, we often ask you to adjust your subsequent plans accordingly.
However, it's unfortunate that despite your efforts to adjust your schedule, an issue with your eyes has caused the procedure to be postponed.

This time, we'll introduce things to pay special attention to before undergoing eye area treatments.
Caution with new cosmetics
Avoid using new cosmetics before or after important treatments, as they may not suit your skin.
My eyes itch regularly.
We recommend consulting an ophthalmologist to stabilize your condition before undergoing treatment, as allergic conjunctivitis or contact lens complications may be possible.
Don't rub your eyes
Epidemic keratoconjunctivitis, commonly known as ”pink eye,” is a highly contagious form of conjunctivitis caused by adenovirus.
For example, viruses can attach to workplace doorknobs, train handrails, or computer keyboards. If you then rub your eyes, you can become infected.
Especially before treatment, avoid rubbing your eyes. Before rubbing, thoroughly wash your hands with soap.
Beware of UV rays
Summer at the beach and winter skiing can cause prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays, leading to UV corneal damage.
Please wear sunglasses when UV rays are strong.
Beware of eyelid tape
To prevent eyelid skin stretching and inflammation, we recommend refraining from using eyelid tape one week prior to double eyelid surgery.
Caution regarding improper use of contact lenses
This applies not only to procedures around the eyes,
The recommended daily wear time for contact lenses is 12 to 16 hours.
Leaving them in while sleeping or wearing daily disposable contact lenses for multiple days can cause various problems such as conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, and dry eye.
Please use appropriately.
