Postoperative Downtime Progress
Day 1 to Day 3 after surgery:
Pain peaks from the evening of the surgery day when the anesthesia wears off through the following day, but it is manageable with oral pain medication.
For the face, swelling peaks immediately after surgery and lasts for about two days. Wear the face band securely for the first 72 hours after surgery.
The day after surgery, you can apply makeup, wash your face, and take a shower. Most people who work at a desk return to work.
For those in customer service or sales roles, we recommend resting for about three days just to be safe.
Wearing a hat and mask will make it almost unnoticeable. For those in professions where masks aren't an option, you might be concerned about bruising, so concealer is recommended to hide it.
Postoperative Day 4 to Postoperative Week 1:
The pain and swelling will gradually subside.
One month after surgery:
Reduces puffiness and refines your jawline.
On the other hand, contracture (hardening) begins.
3 months after surgery：
The contracture has improved, and it's complete.

Massage Start Date and Method
Begin by noting any contracture you experience 2-3 weeks after surgery.
Swelling is most pronounced during the first two weeks, so massaging the area may actually prolong your recovery time.
When massaging, use the pads of your fingers to apply gentle pressure, pressing firmly but not so hard that it causes pain.
We recommend using it once a day during your bath time.
Massage can help contractures heal faster, but they will heal even without massage.
Be careful, as excessive massage can also cause sagging.
