A dual-specialty doctor with a background in plastic surgery, bridging cosmetic surgery and ophthalmology. At the university hospital, he performed numerous high-difficulty cases, primarily focusing on eye and facial bone surgeries, cultivating precise techniques grounded in anatomy. He prioritizes achieving both aesthetic beauty and functional safety, offering customized treatments around the eyes that incorporate ophthalmological expertise. He actively utilizes not only incisional surgery but also non-invasive procedures like hyaluronic acid injections. By carefully assessing each individual's condition and unique appeal, he provides bespoke treatments that guide patients toward naturally harmonious, well-defined eyes.

Hello, I'm Ryutaro Natsume, an image designer and cosmetic surgeon.

The area above your temples feels stiff. Massaging it with your fingers feels good. Let's relieve it with temporalis muscle Botox.

The temporalis muscle is part of the ”masticatory muscle group” responsible for chewing food. The other muscles in this group are the masseter, lateral pterygoid, and medial pterygoid, making a total of four muscles.

If you naturally have excessively strong biting force or develop a habit of clenching your jaw outside of eating due to stress, the temporal muscles can become particularly tense, leading to headaches.

The temporalis muscle is a large muscle that spreads across the temple area, as shown in the diagram above.

The lower muscle is the masseter (the area famous in cosmetic medicine for jawline Botox). The lateral pterygoid and medial pterygoid muscles are located behind the bone and are not visible, so they are not shown in this illustration.

◯ Indications for Temporalis Muscle Botox Treatment

When chewing, the area near the temples bulges significantly.

The area above my temples feels stiff, and it feels good when I press it with my fingers.

◯ People Who Need to Exercise Caution with Temporalis Muscle Botox

My temples are sunken

When only part of the masticatory muscle group is suppressed, other muscles may compensate by becoming tense.

We recommend combining temporalis muscle treatment with jawline Botox.

By the way, not everyone should get Elabot injections. They can cause sunken cheeks or sagging, so I've compiled this information here.

"Do you really need that jawline filler? Beware of sunken cheeks and sagging skin⚠️"
