ネフェルティティは細長い首と美しいフェイスラインが魅力的な古代エジプトの王妃で、ネフェルティティのような美しいフェイスラインと首元を手に入れることができるという意味で命名されています。
広頚筋はこのようにフェイスライン付近の皮膚を下に引っ張る力があります。
表情筋は挙上筋と下制筋で構成されており、広頚筋は下制筋に分類されます。
下制筋は文字通り下に引っ張る力が強いのでたるみの原因となります。
ボトックスで適宜弱めることが大切です。
広頚筋の動きが強いとプラティズマバンドとよばれる首に縦線が入る事があります。プラティズマバンドは首が老けて見える原因にもなります。
広頚筋ボトックスと相性がいいのは口角下制筋ボトックスです。口角下制筋は口角の下にある筋肉で、口をへの字にする役割があります。
広頚筋の動きが強い方は口角下制筋の動きも強いことが多いので併せてボトックス注射することが多いです。
50歳以降で首の皮膚だるみが強い方に、広頚筋ボトックスをするとたるみが悪化する事があります。
その場合は、プラティズマバンドにのみマイルドにボトックスを効かせたり、モフィウス8で皮膚だるみの治療をします。
