そもそも稗粒腫とは？
稗粒腫は、表皮下嚢腫（ひょうひかのうしゅ）という良性の皮膚疾患の一つ。
1〜2mmほどの小さな白い粒が、おもに目の周りや頬に現れます。
白いつぶつぶの中にはケラチンというたんぱく質が詰まっており、触るとやや硬いのが特徴です。
見た目はニキビに似ていますが、毛穴の炎症ではなく、袋状の構造（嚢腫）をしています。
似た症状として「汗管腫」や「コメド（角栓）」があります。
見分けがつきにくいため、気になる場合は自己判断せず医師による診察を受けましょう。
稗粒腫の治療法
成人の稗粒腫は自然に消えることがほとんどありません。
見た目が気になる場合は医療機関での除去が必要です。
治療方法には以下のようなものがあります。

針や細いメスで小さく開けて内容物を圧出する

炭酸ガスレーザーや電気メスで焼灼する

レチノールには、肌のターンオーバーを整え、角質や皮脂の詰まりを防ぐ作用があります。
強い医療用ではなく、パルミチン酸レチノール配合のマイルドな製品を日々のスキンケアに取り入れるだけでも、稗粒腫の再発予防や肌のなめらかさ維持に役立つでしょう。
