Treatment time: Approximately 10 minutes
Estimated duration of effect:
The hyaluronic acid products used at our clinic typically last approximately 12 months. However, for softer areas such as the tear troughs, we may use formulations that last about 6 to 8 months. Please note that the duration of effect varies from person to person.
Bathing and Facial Cleansing: Showering or bathing is permissible starting the day of your treatment. Long baths or saunas are acceptable the following day or later. However, if you are concerned about swelling or edema, please refrain for about one week.
Makeup: Permitted starting the day of treatment. Please refrain from applying pressure, massaging, or rubbing the injection site.
Contraindications: The following individuals cannot receive treatment.
・Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the ingredients of this product or to amide-type local anesthetics
Important Notice: If you fall under any of the following categories, please be sure to inform your doctor before receiving treatment.
・Individuals who have previously received treatment using injectable agents
・Individuals with infection or inflammation at the treatment site
・Individuals who have experienced skin problems in the past with products containing hyaluronic acid
・Pregnant women, women who have recently given birth, and women who are breastfeeding ・Individuals with a history of anaphylaxis or an allergic constitution
・Individuals with a history of liver disease, heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, or severe hypertension
・Individuals with a history of immune dysfunction or undergoing immunosuppressive therapy
・Individuals with porphyria
・Individuals with autoimmune diseases
・Individuals prone to keloids ・Individuals with a tendency to bleed
・Individuals taking medications such as anticoagulants or antiarrhythmics
・Individuals who have undergone or plan to undergo treatments such as laser therapy or chemical peels
Side Effects and Risks: Infections, blood flow disorders, vascular embolism, unevenness, etc.

・Hyaluronic acid injections include treatments using drugs not approved in Japan and treatments differing from the approved medical use.
・The pharmaceuticals and medical devices used for treatment were imported through personal import procedures under the judgment of our hospital's physicians.
・Juvederm is a product approved for manufacture and sale by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and is also certified by the U.S. FDA.
・Restylane is a product approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and was the first FDA-approved non-animal-derived stabilized hyaluronic acid filler.
・The Veloterro series manufactured by Merz AG of Germany has received approval from the U.S. FDA.
・Regarding the Pharmaceutical Adverse Reaction Victim Relief System. In the unlikely event of a serious adverse reaction, it will not be covered by the national Pharmaceutical Adverse Reaction Victim Relief System.
