I imagine many people are trying their hardest to correct that asymmetry,

Did you know that doing it the wrong way can actually make the asymmetry worse?

This time, let's look at the causes of left-right differences and their solutions!!

The reason for uneven eyes is this!

1. **Asymmetry in Skin Sagging**

Sagging skin around the eyes can cause asymmetry between the left and right sides. This becomes particularly noticeable as we age.

2. **Asymmetry in Fat Distribution**

The amount of fat under or above the eyes can alter the appearance of the eyes. This can also vary depending on one's constitution and lifestyle habits.

3. **Muscle Imbalance**

Differences in how you use your eyelid muscles can cause your eyes to open to different degrees. Your usual expressions or habits may be influencing this.

4. **Differences in Skin Thickness Between Left and Right Sides**

Differences in skin thickness can affect how the eye area appears. This is also one factor where individual variation is significant.

5. **Asymmetry in Double Eyelid Width**

Differences in the width of the double eyelids between the left and right eyes can create an uneven impression of the eyes.

6. **Asymmetry in the Tension of the Mongolian Fold**

Differences in the tension of the Mongolian fold on each side can also cause differences in eye shape.

7. **Skeletal Asymmetry**

Differences in eye position or shape can sometimes be caused by asymmetry in the skeletal structure.

Warning!! Using eyelid tape or makeup to fix it will backfire!

Trying too hard to cover uneven eyes with eyelid tape or makeup can actually cause the skin to sag further or worsen pigmentation.

As a result, the difference between the left and right sides can become even more noticeable... Makeup is a temporary solution, but over the long term, it can put a strain on your skin.

In particular, eyelid tape has a very strong effect of causing skin sagging.

Please be careful!! Long-term use of eyelid tape can cause skin sagging, potentially making double eyelid surgery impossible.

Easy dose it!! Correct asymmetry with double-stitch suture technique!

The simplest and gentlest method to correct asymmetry between the eyes is the "double eyelid suture method."

This treatment is highly effective for correcting asymmetry between the eyes, with minimal downtime, allowing you to return to your daily routine immediately.

This is one of the thousands of cases I have treated.

The asymmetry is beautifully resolved! My double eyelid suture method primarily uses internal fixation, so there's absolutely no scarring immediately after the procedure, and swelling is kept to a minimum.
