While it's a term that often comes up during rhinoplasty consultations and information gathering, few people seem to know its specific meaning, right?
ACR is one of the key indicators considered essential for a beautiful nose.
It also significantly affects the impression of the profile and the overall balance.
What is ACR? An important indicator showing the relative position of the alar base and columella.
ACR (Alar-Columellar Relationship) is defined asThe relative position of the alar base (nostrils) and the columella (the central lower column of the nose)is an indicator representing.
One of the criteria for a beautiful nose is how this relationship appears when viewed from the side.
As shown in the diagram,The ideal ACR is a "slightly downward-pointing triangle."。
The nasal bridge is positioned slightly lower than the nostrils, creating a natural and refined impression.
Conversely, when the triangle points upward, the nostrils tend to stand out more, sometimes making the nose appear bulbous.
