ハム目とは、睫毛と二重線の間がぷっくり盛り上がって不自然に見える状態のことです

その盛り上がりがボンレスハムに似ていることからハム目と言われています

睫毛の生え際にかかると、目が小さく見える原因にもなります

この記事では、ハム目の原因や修正手術について、美容外科医の視点からご説明します

ハム目を理解する前にまずは・・・

◎二重の仕組み

ざっくりお話しすると、

瞼は前葉(赤文字)と後葉(青文字)に分けられます。

浅いところにある前葉：皮膚、眼輪筋

深いところにある後葉：挙筋腱膜、ミュラー筋、結膜

で構成されます

目を開く時は後葉が動きます

・一重瞼の場合

前葉と後葉を繋ぐ連結構造がないので、目を開いても前葉が引き込まれず折り込まれない(＝二重になれない)

・二重瞼の場合

前葉と後葉を繋ぐ連結構造があるため、目を開くときに前葉が引き込まれて折り込まる(＝二重になる)

→前葉と後葉を繋ぐ連結構造を再現するのが二重整形の目的です

埋没法：糸、全切開：瞼内部の組織　で二重構造を再現しています

◎ハム目の原因　

二重瞼の仕組みを理解いただいたところで、ハム目の原因についてお話しします

前葉と後葉を繋ぐ連結構造があっても、それぞれがバラバラに動くと連結部より睫毛側の前葉が十分引き込まれずに取り残されやすくなります

その状態が「ハム目」です

ハム目になりやすい原因の１つである奥目を例に考えてみます

図のように前葉と後葉、それぞれの動くベクトル方向が平行であるとより綺麗に連動します

逆にベクトルが平行でないと連動が悪くなります

出目の場合、ベクトル≒平行

奥目の場合、ベクトル≠平行

→奥目はハム目になりやすい　と言われるのはそのためです

まずは横顔の写真を撮影します📱、黒目の中心と黒目の下の頬の高さを比較

黒目の中心が、その下の頬より出ていれば「出目」

黒目の中心が、その下の頬より引っ込んでいれば「奥目」　

◎ハム目になりやすい人

・奥目：前述の通りです

・厚い瞼

皮膚や眼輪筋が厚い、瞼の脂肪が多い(理解しにくくなるので図式から省きました)と

前葉のボリュームが多くなり、連動が悪くなります

・幅広二重希望

例え出目であっても、相対的に引き込まれる前葉のボリュームが多くなり、連動が悪くなります
