Thread lifts are actually one of the safest procedures. The enemy isn't just UV rays—it's gravity too!
As an Assistant Professor, Associate Ward Director, and Chief of Dermatopathology at the university hospital dermatology department, I deepened my expertise through academic presentations and paper publications both domestically and internationally. I have handled a wide range of treatments, from birthmark therapy in children to adult pigmentation concerns, utilizing various lasers and injection therapies, while also contributing to community healthcare. Through encountering numerous cases, I strongly felt the potential and necessity of aesthetic medicine, resolving to pursue further expertise. Building upon my solid dermatological knowledge and meticulous diagnostic skills, I value treatments that gently support each individual's skin while bringing out its inherent beauty.
What kind of image do you have of thread lifts? It's too soon, kinda scary, looks painful... That's about it, I guess.
Spots and fine wrinkles result from both age-related changes and photoaging, making protection from UV rays crucial. However, most sagging is due to age-related changes.
No matter how beautiful a model is, she will inevitably develop sagging skin.

(↑This is a matter of degree, so rest assured that you won't end up with a hyaluronic acid face as long as you don't overdo it.)
These days, I feel that while my skin spots have faded and fine lines have improved, sagging skin treatment remains the toughest challenge.
I always feel that it's best to incorporate the above treatments into your daily routine.
The sun is strong and UV rays are scary, butThe enemy even has gravity!!I'm Aya Hayama, a dermatologist, and that's what I've been thinking lately.

In reality, as we age, bone and fat tissue atrophy, volume decreases, and the supporting ligaments loosen. This inevitably causes the skin and fat to sag downward into the lower face.
Nasolabial folds, marionette lines, loss of facial contour... Of course, ptosis of the upper eyelids and tear troughs are also forms of sagging.
I'd like to explain the option of thread lifts here.
Thread Lift
Generally, thread lifts carry significantly lower risks compared to surgical procedures involving scalpels, with no risk of vascular occlusion like that associated with hyaluronic acid. A needle is used to create an insertion point, and a rounded-tip instrument called a cannula is then used to inject anesthetic into the area where the thread will be inserted.
Can you see the small scar where a thread was inserted between my fingertip and ear? It's about this big!
Following that, special medical-grade threads are inserted into the subcutaneous tissue to lift the skin and muscles, thereby reducing sagging.
Threads feature barbed projections called cogs, which hook onto tissue within the skin to lift targeted areas—this is the mechanism behind thread lifts. Threads with cogs come in various types, including those combined with mesh and those with cogs in all directions.Lift sagging skin that causes wrinkles like nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and jowls around the mouth to achieve your ideal facial contour. Thread lifts tighten the entire face, offering effects that improve and prevent sagging.
Additionally, thread lifts stimulate skin cells through barbs and mesh structures, promoting the production of collagen and elastin around the threads—key components for skin firmness. This helps achieve resilient skin from within. Since collagen and elastin are produced gradually over time, the effects appear slowly. While you can feel the lifting effect immediately after the thread lift, you will likely notice the tightening effect and increased skin elasticity more clearly about 2 to 3 months after the procedure. As collagen increases, the skin tightens, which can also be effective for sagging pores and dry skin.
With thread lifts, you may feel slight discomfort when crossing ligaments, but bleeding inside is fundamentally unlikely. As a risk,If anything, the treated area may feel tight, develop indentations, or show asymmetry, resulting in an unnatural appearance. However, the threads naturally dissolve and blend in over time. Additionally, some individuals may not achieve the desired results despite undergoing thread lift treatment. In this way, the risk stems less from the procedure's invasiveness and more from the practitioner's skill level.Treatments that affect the final resultI think。

It's the same person, but the face line viewed from the side and at an angle is also very beautiful.

Each individual shows a very clean facial contour, with improvement in nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Additionally, with BIANCA LIFT (various thread lift procedures), multipleMelting ThreadWe employ a custom-tailored approach, selecting the optimal thread based on the specific condition of sagging skin.
Representative lineup of thread lifts
・BIANCA LIFT: Recommended for first-time thread lift users
BIANCA CLINIC's original threads, manufactured in Korea and imported. These threads provide high lifting power and fixation strength, serving as the foundation for creating a base that resists sagging. Recommended for those seeking overall lifting from the mid-face to the jawline, or for first-time thread lift patients.
・BIANCA LIFT W: Recommended for those concerned not only with their facial contours but also with the area under the chin and double chin.
BIANCA CLINIC's original thread, an enhanced version of BIANCA LIFT featuring bi-needle processing with needles at both ends of the thread. It enables tightening and lifting not only of the cheeks but also under the jawline, making it ideal for those concerned about both facial contours and double chin.
・Artemis Lift: Recommended for those who wish to maintain lifting effects
Developed by a team of Korean and Japanese doctors with extensive experience and proven results in thread lifts, this thread is tailored to the bone structure and needs of Japanese individuals. It is sometimes referred to as a fourth-generation thread. Its unique pentagonal cogs feature an independent structure, each functioning separately, resulting in higher thread strength compared to cutting-style cogs. The thread anchors itself by interlocking with tissue at the lifted position, making it ideal for those seeking long-lasting lifting effects.
・Teslift: Recommended for those prioritizing lifting effects
A thread developed by South Korea's ZISHEL. The PDO material used in Teslift is believed to offer fat-reducing effects. Its distinctive feature is a special structure where a 3D mesh surrounds barbs. These barbs grip the subcutaneous tissue, drawing surrounding tissue into the 3D mesh to provide long-lasting lifting effects. The thread's tip is secured in a Z-shape, giving it three times the holding power of conventional threads. It is recommended for those prioritizing lifting effects.
Thread lifts are a procedure that lifts the skin without using a scalpel. While swelling and bruising may occur, they are characterized by minimal downtime. Threads are typically inserted in areas hidden by hair, requiring no removal and leaving barely noticeable 2-3mm incisions. This makes them an ideal option for those hesitant about surgical procedures or seeking to minimize downtime.

Here's a personal musing from me, a dermatologist...
On a personal note, I've studied under renowned domestic instructors and traveled to Korea to attend seminars in person!!
Personally, I'm also interested in Aphrodite's Ponyo-rin and Kuma-rin, so I plan to continue studying them.
We're also running a campaign right now, so now's the perfect time to take advantage of it!!
