It has been six months since the surgery.
This was the initial surgery, but it was a case where the nasal skin was originally quite thick and resistant to stretching.
A nasal septum extension procedure using costal cartilage was performed.
Since the nasal bridge was rather thick, we performed osteotomy to create a slimmer nasal bridge.
Additionally, a custom-made prosthesis was used to naturally enhance the beautiful nasal bridge even when viewed from the side.
Despite the difficulty in extending the tip, we achieved a dramatic transformation while maintaining a natural finish without excessive sharpness.
The key point is to push the base of the nose forward from where it's buried in the cheek, creating a sense of three-dimensionality in the midface.
