【Revision of Nasal Septum Extension, Nasal Tip Reduction, and Alar Reduction (Lateral Approach) from Another Clinic】
Left: Pre-operative Right: 2 months post-operative
Surgery to reduce the size of a large nose is actually the most difficult.
I underwent septal extension surgery using septal cartilage at another clinic, but the size of my nose did not improve. The tip gradually regressed, resulting in a drooping nose. I had revision surgery plus alar base reduction performed at this clinic.
The nasal tip was refined using the Columella Strut technique with auricular cartilage, along with Onlay cap graft and Shield graft methods.
Rhinoplasty was performed to create a slimmer nasal tip.
The result is a natural-looking upturned nose. Additionally, the original silicone implant had calcified and deteriorated, so it was replaced with a new one.
Additionally, alar base reduction (lateral approach) was performed to refine the size and volume of the nostrils.
The large drooping nose has become very sleek and inconspicuous.
