This time, we present the 3-month post-operative results for a patient who underwent rhinoplasty (septal extension, tip refinement, custom nasal prosthesis, and nasal mesh removal) and forehead/temple fat grafting at our clinic.
She had previously had dissolvable mesh inserted into her nasal bridge at another clinic, but she desired a more defined nasal bridge and wanted to refine her upturned, short nasal tip.
The mesh that was supposed to dissolve remained completely intact, so we removed it entirely and replaced it with a custom-made prosthesis.
Additionally, the nasal tip was extended diagonally downward using a nasal septum extension procedure employing auricular cartilage.
