I attended the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine Annual Meeting!
To maximize your beauty, care for both the inside and outside is essential. We aim to bring advanced anti-aging treatments, such as peptide therapy common overseas, to our Japanese patients. While aesthetic medical approaches may offer more gradual results, they are crucial for building the foundation that supports beauty and youth. We combine nutritional therapy and lifestyle improvements with hormone replacement, peptide therapy, and regenerative medicine to propose personalized treatment plans. We provide long-term support for health and beauty from within.
Hello, everyone. I'm Maeda from Bianca.
This time, I'll share about the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) Annual Meeting, which I attended after taking time off in mid-December.
The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine is the world's largest anti-aging medical society, conducting numerous seminars throughout the year both globally and online.
Every December, we hold a three-day general meeting at the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas, along with a pre-seminar before the meeting. This year, the general meeting was held under the title "Longevity Fest 2023." A direct Japanese translation would be "Longevity Festival 2023"? 😂
It might sound a bit odd when translated into Japanese, but just like every year, this year too was a wonderful few days that elevated the standards of anti-aging medicine—from educational presentations to clinical protocols.
First, as the keynote speaker this year, Dan Buettner, the renowned National Geographic explorer and pioneer of the Blue Zones (regions with high concentrations of centenarians), delivered a presentation.
Some of you may have seen the Blue Zones program on Netflix—it was a shocking, insightful look at how to extend your lifespan, drawn directly from the world's longest-living people.

During the three-day general meeting, the mornings are held in a very large hall from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM (if you attend the morning seminar, sessions start at 6:30 AM). You can listen to lectures by doctors, researchers, and others who have been active in their fields this year.
Then, from 1:00 PM to around 4:00 PM, you can split into four seminar venues and attend sessions that interest you.
The afternoon session featured 13 diverse topics, including approaches to longevity, anti-aging endocrinology, age reversal protocols, the aging clock, hormone replacement therapy, and peptide therapy. This session also delivered informative lectures packed with updated, new content.

At the Las Vegas conference, I can also visit over 400 company exhibits between presentations, which is another fun experience I look forward to every year.
You can actually touch and try various supplements and devices rarely seen in Japan while hearing directly from the manufacturers.

On the final day, a raffle was held for participants who completed the corporate exhibition stamp rally. Prizes included a 2023 Lexus NX 350, $15,000 (¥2.13 million), and the latest high-pressure oxygen chamber. Unfortunately, I didn't win, but it was a fun conference with many thoughtful touches to keep participants entertained until the very end! ✨
In my next blog post, I'd like to gradually share what I've learned at A4M.
