Rejuran is a PN formulation; PDRN formulations are not cosmetic grade but are for injection.
As an Assistant Professor, Associate Ward Director, and Chief of Dermatopathology at the university hospital dermatology department, I deepened my expertise through academic presentations and paper publications both domestically and internationally. I have handled a wide range of treatments, from birthmark therapy in children to adult pigmentation concerns, utilizing various lasers and injection therapies, while also contributing to community healthcare. Through encountering numerous cases, I strongly felt the potential and necessity of aesthetic medicine, resolving to pursue further expertise. Building upon my solid dermatological knowledge and meticulous diagnostic skills, I value treatments that gently support each individual's skin while bringing out its inherent beauty.
Rejuran has been getting a lot of buzz lately, hasn't it?
I am Dr. Aya Hayama, a board-certified dermatologist.

While it does not contain amino acids, in the broad sense of utilizing wound healing and natural healing abilities to regenerate skin, it might be considered skin nurturing.
Rejuran Healer
Rejuran (Salmon Injection) is an injectable formulation primarily composed of PN (polynucleotides). It is a preparation used for cosmetic purposes, made by highly purifying DNA fragments extracted from salmon DNA.
The official name is Rejuran Healer. By introducing DNA fragments, it promotes the repair and regeneration of cells and tissues using the body's own wound-healing capabilities, as well as the formation of new blood vessels. It is said to aid in repairing abnormal blood vessels and reducing inflammation, and is also believed to be effective for rosacea.
The key is that this treatment stimulates fibroblasts to proliferate cells and regenerate skin, adding thickness to the epidermis and dermis. This improves skin firmness, tightens the skin, and creates elasticity, offering natural rejuvenation that goes beyond mere volume enhancement.
Furthermore, it increases vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) to promote angiogenesis, offering localized blood flow improvement and helping reduce dark circles caused by congestion around the eyes. Its anti-inflammatory properties aid in repairing acne scars and wounds, mitigating UV damage, and restoring abnormal blood vessels. By balancing sebum and enhancing skin's moisture retention, it refines skin texture. Its multifaceted actions work to give skin a youthful appearance.
Rejuran i
At BIANCA CLINIC, we tailor our treatments to each patient's concerns, treatment area, and skin condition, utilizing both standard Rejuran and Rejuran i (Rejuran Eye) specifically designed for the eye area.
The standard Rejuran treatment is primarily applied to the entire face, forehead, neck, and décolleté. It is characterized by its multi-purpose effectiveness in addressing a wide range of concerns, including sagging skin, loss of firmness, enlarged pores, nasolabial folds, forehead wrinkles, and acne scars.
Rejuran i is a formulation specifically designed for the eye area. Its low viscosity allows for easy absorption, making it ideal for treating fine lines around the delicate, thin skin of the eyes and dark circles under the eyes. It can also be used around the mouth, where the skin is equally sensitive.

Rejuran i 1 session, 3 weeks later
Unlike hyaluronic acid injections, which deliver dramatic changes like lifting wrinkles or restoring volume in one session, this treatment works by restoring skin elasticity and firmness. This allows it to address wrinkles and fine lines that are difficult to improve with hyaluronic acid or Botox injections, resulting in a natural finish without that “done-up” look.

Here's a personal musing from me, a dermatologist...
Recently, some clinics have been using cosmetic-grade formulations like Rejuran True Skin Essence for intradermal injections. However, these products are not formulated for injection use, potentially containing preservatives or fragrances. Their ingredient concentration, purity, and sterility cannot be guaranteed, meaning the risk of foreign body reactions or infection within the body cannot be ruled out.
Please be aware that cosmetics, salon-grade beauty serums, and PDRN-infused cosmetics are also cosmeceutical grade and therefore cannot be injected.
