Do you know your biological age? What is the DNA methylation clock that measures the effectiveness of internal anti-aging care?
To maximize your beauty, care for both the inside and outside is essential. We aim to bring advanced anti-aging treatments, such as peptide therapy common overseas, to our Japanese patients. While aesthetic medical approaches may offer more gradual results, they are crucial for building the foundation that supports beauty and youth. We combine nutritional therapy and lifestyle improvements with hormone replacement, peptide therapy, and regenerative medicine to propose personalized treatment plans. We provide long-term support for health and beauty from within.

By the way, do you know your biological age?

Biological age is not the same as chronological age, which is determined by your date of birth. Biological age refers to the degree of aging in your tissues and cells. It can also be called cellular age. Having a young chronological age does not necessarily mean you have a young biological age. Various factors, such as lifestyle habits and daily stress, influence the rate of cellular aging, so biological age differs from person to person.
Therefore, even individuals in their 30s or 40s may have a biological age in their 20s, while conversely, it's also possible for those in their 50s or 60s to have a biological age in their 50s or 60s.
The DNA methylation clock test is performed to determine your biological age!

So how do we determine biological age? BIANCA employs a metric called the DNA methylation clock. While there are various types of biological age, this is considered a globally recognized and scientifically reliable indicator. By using AI to recognize changes in DNA methylation—which occurs and reverses with aging—we can accurately predict biological age.
Measuring the DNA methylation clock is as simple as drawing blood! Detailed results arrive from the U.S. in about 6 to 8 weeks, and we then share the results with patients who come to the hospital.
As for my biological age...

By the way, I was born in 1987 and am currently 36 years old, but my biological age is 31. I started getting DNA methylation clock tests two years ago and have had a total of three measurements so far. The results for each are as follows:
February 2022 (Age 35) → Biological Age: 34
October 2022 (Age 35) → Biological Age: 33
June 2023 (Age 36) → Biological Age: 31
After the initial assessment, lifestyle adjustments and anti-aging treatments were tailored. The gap between biological age and chronological age has widened year by year, indicating that the treatments are producing steady results.
DNAWhat are the benefits of getting a methylation clock test?

The benefit of DNA methylation clock testing is that it allows you to check whether the anti-aging methods you're each using are suitable for your body and whether they're producing results. By measuring your biological age before actively starting treatment, you can then gauge how much younger you've become.
When dieting, you weigh yourself and set your ideal weight as a goal, right? Without setting goals for anti-aging care, it's hard to tell if your routine is working. It's best to measure your biological age and aim to become younger than that.
By utilizing DNA methylation clock testing, you may be able to find an anti-aging care method that suits you.
Aesthetic Medicine = A medical approach to rejuvenating your biological age!
While treatments like skin rejuvenation and facial lifting are certainly important for appearance, maintaining long-term beauty also requires internal anti-aging care. My role is to work with each patient through consultations and examinations to find the anti-aging care best suited to their individual needs.
At BIANCA, we measure orthomolecular blood tests alongside DNA methylation clocks. We establish anti-aging goals after identifying each patient's specific vulnerabilities. If you're interested in anti-aging care, we encourage you to schedule a consultation.
