Having worked alongside orthopedic surgeons for many years, I've increasingly focused on anti-aging care for middle-aged and older adults. Through this experience, I've learned that overly fixating on localized beauty can sometimes create imbalance when viewed holistically. Therefore, it's crucial to take a comprehensive approach, assessing the whole person, and proposing balanced, healthy aging care.
As humans age, the skin sags while the underlying structure undergoes skeletonization, gradually resembling a skeleton. To counter this, procedures like hyaluronic acid or fat injections are used to restore former fullness. Treatments for dark circles and midface concerns also focus not on removing fat volume entirely, but on reusing as much as possible. We perform surgery with a holistic view, aiming to restore cheek fullness and roundness. Additionally, scar revision surgery works to make scars less noticeable as much as possible. This includes scars that have become depressed due to trauma, scars that have formed uneven surfaces, and scars that do not follow the natural lines of wrinkles.
