A game changer in the aesthetic medicine field, proposing Lifestyle Beauty that transcends the boundaries of traditional cosmetic treatments.
BIANCA CLINIC offers a wide range of injection treatments that lead to beautiful skin with minimal downtime, while also focusing on regenerative medicine. Dermal Fibroblast Therapy is a groundbreaking treatment that can transplant skin cells from your younger years to areas of concern, even after several years or decades.
Skin cells and blood collected from the patient's skin are cryopreserved under strict quality control at Cell Bank Co., Ltd.'s (Facility No.: FA3150017) cell culture center, approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. This preserves them in a youthful, healthy state semi-permanently. For example, skin cells from age 30 can be withdrawn from the stem cell bank like a deposit and transplanted into skin at age 45.
To implement regenerative medicine therapies, including dermal fibroblast therapy, it is necessary to pass rigorous reviews by a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare-certified Regenerative Medicine Committee and submit a "Regenerative Medicine Provision Plan" to the Regional Health Bureau. Our clinic has submitted a "Type II Regenerative Medicine Provision Plan," required for performing regenerative medicine using the patient's own cells. We are a medical facility that has formally received approval from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and obtained a plan number (PB3200157). Why not start skin maintenance to preserve natural beauty with the doctors at Bianca Clinic, who specialize in skin treatments?

CHARACTERISTICSDermal Fibroblast Therapy (Fibroblasts)
Dermal Fibroblast Therapy is a skin regenerative treatment where "dermal fibroblasts (skin cells)"—the cells that produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid that make up the skin—are harvested from behind the ear, cultured to multiply, and then injected into the areas of concern using a syringe. Dermal fibroblasts, which play a crucial role in maintaining skin moisture and firmness, are said to decrease after age 20, reducing to about one-third by around age 50. By injecting skin cells into areas showing wrinkles or sagging, this therapy is expected to directly influence skin function itself, supporting the improvement of skin concerns.
Skin cells cultured at the Cell Culture Center and multiplied to 40 to 100 million cells can be stored semi-permanently. By harvesting and multiplying your own skin cells while you are still young, you can address skin concerns that may arise years or even decades later.
Dermal Fibroblast Therapy to Slow the Pace of Skin Aging
Due to aging and stress, our skin cells decrease year by year, and their function also declines.
Dermal fibroblast therapy is a regenerative medicine treatment that replenishes skin with its own activated cells to restore firmness and promote the skin's natural healthy state. By enhancing the function of skin cells that produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, it is expected to improve signs of aging such as wrinkles and sagging, and restore firmness and elasticity. Furthermore, continuing regular injections can slow the progression of aging compared to untreated skin. It is gaining attention as a new skincare treatment option that addresses future skin aging and helps maintain a youthful appearance.
After treatment, it takes approximately three months for the effects on the skin to become apparent.
The process by which effects begin to appear from before to after dermal fibroblast therapy is as follows:
【Before Treatment】Skin showing signs of aging
As skin cells decrease and function declines with aging, the dermis becomes thin and fragile. This condition causes aging symptoms like wrinkles and sagging.
【Treatment】Dermal Fibroblast Transplantation
Healthy skin cells harvested from the skin and cultured to 40 to 100 million cells are transplanted to the area of concern. Collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin produced by the skin cells support the repair of skin tissue.
【3 months after treatment】Changes begin to appear in the skin
The accumulation of new collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin within the skin helps reduce symptoms such as wrinkles and sagging, while improving skin firmness and elasticity. Although individual results vary, some individuals report their skin looking more youthful within 3 to 12 months after treatment.

Recommended Features
RECOMMENDED POINTSWhat's the difference between Botox injections and hyaluronic acid injections?
Injection treatments include options that involve injecting formulations specifically designed to address wrinkles and sagging, such as hyaluronic acid injections and Botox injections. In contrast, dermal fibroblast therapy is characterized by the extraction and cultivation of the patient's own skin cells for injection, making it one of the treatments with a lower risk of side effects like allergies.
Additionally, while hyaluronic acid injections and Botox injections offer readily noticeable immediate effects, their results are temporary as they are eventually absorbed by the body. In contrast, dermal fibroblast therapy is said to restore the skin's fundamental functions, enabling long-term changes and eliminating the need for frequent repeat treatments. Should new skin concerns arise in 5 or 15 years, a subsequent injection can help maintain a consistently youthful appearance.
Comprehensive solutions for concerns about your face, neck, and hands
Dermal fibroblast therapy is suitable for areas around the eyes (outer corners, eyelids, under-eye dark circles, nasolabial folds), around the mouth (nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips), the forehead, between the eyebrows, cheeks, and more. It can be applied meticulously to any facial area. Additionally, it can be injected into the neck and hands, where signs of aging often appear. When concerns arise, effectively addressing them is possible by injecting the preserved skin cells as needed.
Bianca Clinic has a proven track record of meticulous design through numerous injection treatments, centered on the theme of “refined beauty.” Even with dermal fibroblast therapy re-injections, we perform procedures while considering each patient's overall facial balance to maintain a natural youthful appearance. We provide lasting support for the symptoms and concerns that emerge with age.
For those seeking a naturally rejuvenated appearance
Dermal fibroblast therapy is a cutting-edge regenerative treatment that addresses age-related concerns by harvesting dermal fibroblasts from your own skin, culturing and multiplying them, then transplanting these revitalized skin cells via injection. It activates the skin at the cellular level and is chosen by those seeking to care for aging symptoms like nasolabial folds and wrinkles. Expect natural changes that enhance your unique beauty.
The timing of results varies from person to person, but generally, skin cells gradually activate within 3 to 12 months after treatment, leading to skin that feels firmer and more radiant. Unlike injection treatments using formulations, regenerative medicine's defining feature is its ability to increase your own skin cells. If you're interested in skin regenerative medicine that restores youthfulness from within, please feel free to consult with us.

Please tell your doctor about the areas of concern and your symptoms. We will also carefully address any questions or concerns you may have about treatment.
Blood test, skin biopsy, blood draw
To culture cells, a rice-grain-sized piece of skin is harvested from behind the ear. Additionally, blood is drawn to be used as the culture medium (the environment for culturing skin cells).
The cell culture technicians at the Cell Culture Center manage the process responsibly, culturing and proliferating skin cells to approximately 10,000 times their original number over about five weeks. Any cells not used for transplantation can be cryopreserved at specialized facilities.
Skin Cell Transplantation (First Session)
The first skin cell transplant should be performed between 5 weeks and 3 months after the skin collection date.
Skin Cell Transplantation (2nd Session)
We recommend undergoing the second transplant within approximately two weeks of the first transplant. Performing the second transplant within a short period increases the engraftment rate of skin cells.
Skin Cell Transplantation (3rd Session)
Cryopreserved skin cells can be stored semi-permanently at specialized facilities, allowing you to transplant them to areas of concern at your own convenience—such as 1 to 2 years after the third session. As part of regular maintenance treatments, you can receive transplants of your youthful skin cells from the original harvest for years or even decades. (The amount of skin cells stored varies by plan.)

Frequently Asked Questions About Dermal Fibroblast Therapy
Q&AWho is recommended for dermal fibroblast therapy?
Dermal fibroblast therapy is a skin regenerative treatment chosen by those who wish to naturally restore a youthful appearance using their own skin cells, and by those seeking long-lasting effects from a single injection. If you are interested, please come in for a consultation.
Why is the skin sample taken from behind the ear?
The skin behind the ears is less susceptible to damage from UV rays and friction, and is said to show fewer signs of aging compared to other areas. To extract young skin cells from skin that has suffered minimal damage, we collect samples from behind the ears.
What is the schedule for dermal fibroblast therapy?
From skin sampling to the first skin cell transplant, a cultivation period is required, taking a minimum of approximately five weeks. To ensure optimal cell engraftment, we recommend scheduling the second transplant within two weeks of the first. Further details will be explained during your consultation.
Are there any side effects associated with dermal fibroblast therapy?
Dermal fibroblast therapy is characterized as a treatment method with minimal risk of side effects and reduced physical burden, as it involves injecting the patient's own skin cells. Since needles are used during injection, swelling, redness, or bruising may occur, but these typically subside within 1 to 2 weeks.
How is it different from hyaluronic acid or Botox injections?
Dermal fibroblast therapy differs from other injection treatments in that it offers a fundamental approach by increasing the very skin cells responsible for producing moisture and firmness. Compared to hyaluronic acid or Botox injections, it is expected to deliver long-term changes.
Is it better to harvest dermal fibroblasts when you're young?
There is no age restriction for harvesting dermal fibroblasts, and the procedure can be started at any age. Individuals experiencing more advanced skin aging are likely to notice greater changes after transplantation.
What are dermal fibroblasts?
Dermal fibroblasts are cells found in the dermis layer of the skin, responsible for producing collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin. A high number of dermal fibroblasts maintains skin elasticity and hydration, but their count declines sharply after age 50. Dermal fibroblast therapy, being a regenerative medicine that increases the number of these cells themselves, can effectively address skin showing signs of aging.
Is dermal fibroblast therapy covered by insurance?
Dermal fibroblast therapy is a private medical service not covered by insurance. Due to the strict 24-hour management of patients' skin cells at our cell culture center, the cost is relatively high.
At BIANCA, we offer a wide range of skin treatment options beyond dermal fibroblast therapy. If you have concerns about aging, please feel free to consult with us.
