CHARACTERISTICSWhat is HydraFacial?
HydraFacial is a skin rejuvenation treatment that cleanses and removes dead skin cells, sebum, and impurities deep within pores using a vortex of water infused with cosmetic ingredients.
The key feature is that the following processes can be performed simultaneously in a single session.
・Microdermabrasion (physical exfoliation)
・Chemical Peel (Chemical Exfoliation)
・Introduction of beauty ingredients
This treatment is gentle on the skin, causing minimal discomfort and virtually no downtime. Some individuals notice improvements in skin tone, radiance, and firmness immediately after the procedure.
This treatment utilizes the HydraFacial™, a specialized device developed by The HydraFacial Company in the United States. Its patented tip features a unique design that minimizes skin friction, gently cleansing the skin with a vortex water flow while effectively delivering cosmetic ingredients. This FDA-cleared and CE-marked device, meeting EU member state standards, is used in skin clinics worldwide.
HydraFacial Treatment Procedure
HydraFacial is a skin treatment that combines cleansing + peeling, pore extraction, and serum infusion in three steps to gently yet effectively reach deep into pores. With a treatment time of about 30 minutes, it provides thorough exfoliation and pore care in a short session.
STEP 1: Cleansing + Peeling
Softens the skin to lift impurities, cleanses with specialized agents, and thoroughly cleanses deep within the pores. Formulated with exfoliating ingredients and powered by water flow, it also removes dead skin cells and sebum buildup.
STEP 2. Pore Suction + Moisturizing
The suction removes impurities such as sebum and blackheads while simultaneously introducing moisturizing ingredients to soothe the skin.
STEP 3. Serum Infusion + Protection
We introduce a serum containing antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, peptides, and other ingredients to the skin's surface.
For full-face treatments, add EIN at no extra charge.
At our clinic, we offer the EIEN steamer treatment at no additional charge exclusively to clients who book a HydraFacial (full face). EIEN is a next-generation beauty steamer utilizing a superheated steam system. Unlike conventional steamers, it generates ultra-fine water particles at the molecular level, heated to a maximum of 400°C.
These ultra-fine water particles penetrate deep into the skin, delivering the following benefits:
・Gently removes excess oil and dirt
・Deeply hydrates the skin's inner layers
・Leads to clean, clear skin
After preparing your skin with EIEN, performing a HydraFacial targets deep-seated sebum and blackheads within pores while also enhancing the absorption rate of beauty ingredients. This combination of HydraFacial and EIEN is especially popular among those concerned about darkened pores and sebum buildup.

RECOMMENDED POINTSThe Difference Between HydraFacial and Chemical Peels
HydraFacial and chemical peels both exfoliate the skin, but they differ in downtime and skin irritation. Chemical peels use high-concentration solutions to remove dead skin cells from the surface. Since they exfoliate by irritating the skin, they can cause peeling, redness, and dryness. HydraFacials, however, perform exfoliation using a water jet infused with nourishing ingredients, providing hydration to the skin. This approach minimizes irritation and results in virtually no downtime.
If you want thorough exfoliation, chemical peels are ideal. If you prioritize gentle exfoliation, HydraFacial is the better choice. The most suitable treatment varies depending on your skin concerns and condition. When unsure which treatment is best, we'll assess your skin condition and preferences to recommend the right one. Please schedule a consultation first.
For pore concerns, we also offer combination treatments with AIN.
For those seeking to maximize the effects of HydraFacial at Bianca Clinic, we recommend combining it with the EIEN heated steam treatment. While conventional steamers use large-molecule saturated steam, EIEN utilizes small-molecule superheated steam, allowing it to penetrate the skin more easily. Its microscopic water particles reach deep into the skin, removing excess sebum and impurities while simultaneously providing hydration.
When used with HydraFacial, it efficiently targets stubborn impurities deep within pores. Finally, infusing the serum helps guide your skin toward a clearer complexion.
For those struggling with severe acne, try the "BIANCA Anti-Acne Method"
The causes of acne include excessive sebum production and disrupted skin turnover. HydraFacial addresses clogged pores and regulates skin turnover, making it an effective treatment for acne care and prevention.
For those struggling with severe acne characterized by deep pits and intense redness, the "BIANCA Anti-Acne Method" offers a thorough three-month treatment option. This approach tackles acne through six HydraFacial sessions combined with three months of oral acne medication Roaccutane (generic name: isotretinoin). While not yet covered by insurance in Japan, it works by addressing abnormal keratinization in acne and suppressing sebum production. If you're struggling with acne, please consult us.

First, we'll discuss your skin concerns during a consultation and confirm your suitability for HydraFacial through a physician's diagnosis. If you have any questions about the procedure or concerns about discomfort, please feel free to ask.
treatment
After applying a specialized gel to the treatment area, the skin is softened using the Activ-4™ agent, and a deep cleansing tip removes pore impurities and excess sebum. Next, GlySal™Prep (7.5% glycolic acid + 2% salicylic acid) is applied to exfoliate remaining dead skin cells. The peeling agent is removed with a suction tip while "Beta-HD" further softens pores and simultaneously introduces moisturizing ingredients. To finish, a serum rich in low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and amino acids is deeply infused to provide hydration and firmness.
Aftercare
After your final facial wash, you may apply makeup and head home if there are no issues.

HydraFacial Frequently Asked Questions
Q&AHow soon after a HydraFacial treatment can I expect to see results?
Some people notice results after just one session, but we recommend continuing for 5 to 10 sessions at a pace of once every 2 to 4 weeks.
Does the HydraFacial treatment hurt?
The gentle peeling action of the water flow causes almost no pain. In rare cases, you may feel a slight tingling sensation.
When can I start wearing makeup after a HydraFacial?
Available starting the same day.
What about swelling, redness, or pain after the procedure?
After treatment, temporary redness, dryness, or worsening of acne may occur, but these symptoms often subside within a few days.
When can I take a bath or shower after a HydraFacial?
Available starting the same day.
When can I drink alcohol or smoke after a HydraFacial?
Available starting the next day. Please refrain from treatment on the day of the procedure.
Can I still get the treatment if I have a sunburn?
If you have redness or inflammation, we may ask you to refrain from treatment. If the condition has subsided, treatment is possible.
What should I be mindful of before and after a HydraFacial treatment?
If you have recently undergone hair removal, laser treatments, or chemical peels on the same area, the procedure may not be possible. If you are using products containing vitamin A derivatives such as retinol, please consult your physician beforehand. After HydraFacial, be sure to protect your skin from UV rays and maintain thorough hydration. Additionally, as your skin may temporarily become more prone to dryness, ensure you moisturize sufficiently during your skincare routine.
Can I get a HydraFacial treatment just for my nose?
Yes, that's possible. We also offer treatments for specific areas of concern, such as the nose or cheeks.
Are there any disadvantages to HydraFacial?
The skin may become temporarily more prone to dryness and more susceptible to UV damage. Moisturizing and sun protection are essential.
Is it true that HydraFacial causes enlarged pores?
HydraFacial does not cause pores to enlarge. While pores may temporarily appear more noticeable after unclogging, removing impurities actually helps prevent pore enlargement. For those concerned about visible pores, combining the treatment with a tightening procedure is also popular.
What's the difference between HydraFacial and HydraGentle?
Hydra is the name used for devices that cleanse skin keratin and comedones using water flow. HydraFacial is a device manufactured in the United States, while HydraGentle is a device manufactured by Eunsung in South Korea. Neither is a medical device and both can be introduced as aesthetic devices. HydraFacial is approved by the U.S. FDA.
What is the difference between HydraFacial for esthetic salons and for medical institutions?
Medical institutions use medications with high concentrations of active ingredients, administered by doctors and nurses. The major difference is their ability to provide medical treatment for any potential skin issues.
