Features

CHARACTERISTICS

Lalapearl is

Lalapeel is a Korean-origin peel that combines LHA (Capryoyl Salicylic Acid), an ingredient developed by cosmetics company L'Oréal, with an alkaline agent. Rather than artificially exfoliating dead skin cells, it dissolves unwanted proteins in the skin through the action of LHA to remove excess keratin, making it gentle on the skin.

Furthermore, while conventional peeling focused primarily on "Peeling (removing)," the new concept of Lara Peel also emphasizes "Filling (nourishing)." By allowing the peeling agent to penetrate the skin, it promotes cell turnover, leading to plump, radiant skin from within.

Fourth-Generation Peeling to Nurture Your Skin

Peeling is a treatment method that uses chemicals to remove old keratin from the skin's surface and promote skin turnover. While peeling has been practiced for a long time, it has evolved over the years into safer and more effective methods.

First Generation: AHA (alpha hydroxy acids such as lactic acid and glycolic acid)
Second Generation BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid, also known as Salicylic Acid)
Third Generation PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid derived from AHA)
Fourth Generation LHA (Capryloic Salicylic Acid)

First- and second-generation chemical peels used AHA or BHA to gradually exfoliate the skin through a chemical reaction upon application. Third-generation peels are non-exfoliating, where the peeling agent remains on the skin, increasing moisture levels while delivering exfoliation. However, they have drawbacks such as a tingling sensation, post-treatment redness, and a tendency to cause peeling.

Lala Peel, a fourth-generation peel, uses LHA to dissolve accumulated dead skin cells and melanin while delivering active ingredients deep into the skin. This process closely mimics natural exfoliation, making it gentler and less irritating than previous peels. It also focuses on nourishing the skin, promoting penetration of active ingredients to accelerate cell turnover. Rather than thinning the skin, it encourages thickening for a plump, healthy complexion.

The Three Main Ingredients of Lalapearl

Lalapeel is composed of three ingredients: LHA for exfoliating dead skin cells, the alkaline component P-solTM, and the lipid component Lipids. The effects and roles of each ingredient are as follows:

LHA (Capryloil Salicylic Acid)… A new ingredient developed by L'Oréal, a cosmetics company. Unlike acids used in chemical peels, it is lipophilic, gentle on the skin, and slowly and evenly removes dead skin cells.
P-solTM (P-sol)… A patented Korean alkaline derived from natural oils. It generates components that enhance skin firmness, such as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, thereby providing skin with firmness.
Lipids (phospholipids)… Natural skin structural components similar to the stratum corneum. They act as a substitute for the skin until damaged skin recovers, strengthening the skin's barrier function.

Benefits

MERIT

Nurture your skin to achieve a dewy, luminous complexion that glows from within.

Lalapiel is a peel that not only removes dead skin cells but also focuses on nurturing skin from within. With repeated use, it cultivates your skin, leading to a dewy, radiant complexion that glows from within.

Gentle enough for sensitive skin!

LHA (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid), the main ingredient in Lalapiel, has a mildly acidic pH of 5.5, matching the skin's natural pH. This minimizes irritation upon application, making it suitable for sensitive skin.

Minimal downtime

Lalapiel is not a skin-peeling treatment, so it does not cause the stinging or discomfort associated with other peels and has virtually no downtime. Therefore, the next treatment can be performed as early as one week later.

Recommended Features

RECOMMENDED POINTS

In South Korea, it is also gaining attention as a skin care treatment.

Lala Peel is the latest peeling treatment developed in Korea. Its popularity skyrocketed after Korean actresses introduced it on social media, leading it to be called the "Actress Peel." With virtually no downtime, Korean actresses and K-POP idols reportedly receive it as a pre-shoot skin management treatment. It's also recommended as a last-minute treatment before events. Riding its popularity in Korea, it's gaining traction in Japan too. If you're aiming for skin that glows from within like Korean actresses and K-POP idols, this is a treatment you should definitely try.

The more you do it, the easier it is to feel the effects.

Lalapiel is a treatment recommended even for those new to aesthetic medicine, as its effects—such as increased skin hydration—are often noticeable after just one session. However, as its name "skin-nurturing peel" suggests, Lalapiel's defining feature is that repeated sessions allow you to feel changes in your skin texture. With each session, you'll find it easier to notice effects like improved skin firmness and radiance. Since it places minimal burden on the skin and has almost no downtime, you can schedule your next treatment as soon as one week later! This allows you to receive treatments at short intervals and maintain beautiful skin. The recommended frequency is 3 to 5 sessions spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. After that, repeating treatments every 1 to 2 months supports ongoing anti-aging care for your skin.

We also recommend combining it with other treatments to enhance the effects.

Combining Lala Peel with other treatments can further enhance its effectiveness. After a Lala Peel treatment, your skin is free of excess dead skin cells and impurities. This results in improved absorption compared to usual, allowing for more satisfying skin treatments. There are numerous treatments that can be used alongside Lala Peel, so we will propose options after discussing your specific skin concerns.

Treatment Preparation

Lalapiel treatments are performed with makeup removed, so patients must cleanse and wash their face beforehand.

施術準備

treatment

First, use the specialized foam cleanser Lalaform to remove excess protein, dirt, and dust from the face. Next, apply Lalaform Basic (Agent 1) to care for the skin's surface. Then, apply Lalaform Ultra (Agent 2) to target the skin's deeper layers.

Aftercare

After the treatment, we apply cream to finish and condition the skin. Depending on your skin condition, you may apply makeup immediately after the treatment if there are no issues. You may also bathe and wash your face on the day of the treatment. Additionally, since the skin tends to be more prone to dryness after the treatment, we ask that you consciously focus on moisturizing, such as adding a mask to your regular skincare routine.

Lalapearl Frequently Asked Questions

Q&A

Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of Lalapil.

The advantage of Lalapiel is that it provides keratin care without forcibly stripping the stratum corneum. While it is fundamentally a treatment that places minimal burden on the skin, a potential drawback is that temporary dryness or redness may occur in some cases. However, compared to other peeling treatments, it is a procedure that minimizes such disadvantages while effectively managing keratin care.

Is the Lala Peel treatment painful?

While individual experiences may vary depending on skin condition, the main ingredients are all gentle on the skin, so you'll likely feel little to no pain upon application. Pain is also rarely felt after the treatment, making it suitable even for those with sensitive skin.

Can the treatment cause skin irritation? Also, are there any methods to prevent skin irritation?

Lalapiel is a peel that places less burden on the skin compared to traditional chemical peels. However, depending on skin type and the condition of the skin at the time of treatment, the Lalapiel procedure may cause irritation and lead to skin problems.
To prevent skin irritation, please be mindful of any stinging sensation during your Lalapiel treatment. If you experience stinging during the procedure, please inform us immediately. We will promptly stop the treatment, thoroughly rinse the area with water, and provide moisturizing care.

What should I do if my skin becomes irritated despite taking precautions?

If skin irritation occurs despite taking precautions, immediately visit a hospital, consult a doctor, and obtain a prescription. Moisturizing care is crucial until your skin returns to normal. Apply moisturizing cream frequently and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Is there a chance of experiencing a healing crisis?

Acne that was hidden beneath the skin may temporarily surface as the skin is exfoliated by Lala Peel. This typically subsides within 2 to 3 weeks. If it persists longer than this, please consult a physician.

Are there any precautions to take before and after the treatment?

■Before Treatment
Please note the following two points.
1. Avoid activities that strain the skin, such as shaving, sun exposure, and scrubbing.
2. If you plan to undergo other treatments (such as peels, laser, light therapy, hair removal, etc.) within one month, please consult your physician.

■After Treatment
Please note the following two points.
1. Be sure to apply moisturizer and sunscreen for at least three days. Also, if you are using skincare products containing tretinoin or retinol, please consult us beforehand.
2. Please wait a certain period of time after your Lala Peel treatment before receiving other cosmetic procedures.

Is the treatment suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, even those with sensitive skin can undergo the treatment. Compared to conventional peeling agents, Lala Peel gently removes dead skin cells over time, minimizing irritation to the skin.

However, depending on your skin condition, you may experience redness or pain. If you feel any stinging during the treatment, please inform us immediately. We will stop the treatment right away, thoroughly rinse the area with water, and provide moisturizing care. Additionally, if any abnormalities occur on your skin after the treatment, please consult a physician.

Is it okay to apply makeup after the treatment?

Yes, you can apply makeup after the treatment. Lala Peel is a gentle peel that minimizes skin irritation, so redness and downtime are unlikely. You can apply makeup immediately without any issues. This makes it convenient for busy individuals who struggle to take time off.

How long is the entire treatment session?

The duration varies depending on the treatment and consultation, but it is generally about 30 minutes.

What treatments can be used in combination with Lala Peel?

After a Lala Peel treatment, your skin has shed excess dead skin cells and is in a state where it absorbs products more readily than usual. Combining it with other treatments may enhance the results. There are many treatments that can be used alongside Lala Peel; please consult your physician for details.

However, we ask that you refrain from combining this treatment with other peeling procedures, as the combined stimulation may be too harsh for the skin.

When can I start feeling the effects of Lalapiel? Also, how many sessions are needed to notice more significant results?

Results vary, and some may notice effects after just one session. However, since this treatment is gentle on the skin, we recommend multiple sessions. Receiving 3 to 5 sessions at 2- to 4-week intervals will help guide your skin to a plump, healthy appearance from within.

Does it contain any allergens?

Although present in trace amounts and therefore not subject to allergy labeling requirements, the following ingredients are included:
・Lalapearl Basic: Limonene
・LaraPure Ultra: Limonene, Citral

Please tell me the difference between LaraPiel Basic and LaraPiel Ultra.

Both contain the same ingredients, but the second application of Lala Peel Ultra features twice the concentration of ingredients found in Lala Peel Basic. The process involves first using Lala Peel Basic to acclimate the skin to an alkaline state, then using Lala Peel Ultra to exfoliate while allowing the active ingredients to penetrate deep into the stratum corneum.

What is P-sol™?

P-sol™ is an alkaline ingredient composed of various natural oils, such as olive oil. It is expected to provide skin-tightening effects and protect the skin's surface.

Why is Lara Peel strongly alkaline? Also, please explain why it causes minimal skin irritation despite being strongly alkaline.

P-sol™ effectively works on the skin under highly alkaline conditions because it induces fibroblast activation and reconstructs collagen and fibrous tissue. Although highly alkaline, Lala Peel undergoes hydrophilic modification (hydrogenation) during manufacturing, resulting in reduced skin irritation.

Is Larapearl a treatment that can be received during pregnancy?

We cannot provide treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you wish to receive care during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, please let us know and we will suggest available treatments.
