As a plastic surgeon, I perform scar treatment, ptosis surgery, and skin cancer surgery. I have also gained experience as a cosmetic surgeon at Tokyo Cosmetic Surgery.
Having worked alongside orthopedic surgeons for many years, I've increasingly focused on anti-aging care for middle-aged and older adults. Through this experience, I've learned that overly fixating on localized beauty can sometimes create imbalance when viewed holistically. Therefore, it's crucial to take a comprehensive approach, assessing the whole person, and proposing balanced, healthy aging care.
Human skin sags, but internally, skeletonization progresses, drawing closer to a skeletal state. Therefore, people try to restore the former fullness by injecting hyaluronic acid or fat.
Treatment for bear-like midface features does not simply remove fat bulges; instead, we strive to reuse as much as possible, taking a holistic view to restore the cheeks' natural fullness and roundness through surgery.
We also perform scar revision surgery to minimize the appearance of depressed scars, uneven scars, and scars that do not follow the natural skin creases, to the extent possible.
