Subcision is one treatment approach for addressing crater-like skin depressions caused by acne scars. When chronic inflammation from acne persists, fibrosis occurs beneath the skin, forming hard scar tissue. This fibrosis pulls the skin inward, creating depressions (craters).
TriFill Pro physically separates the fibrous tissue causing depressions by horizontally cutting it beneath the skin using carbon dioxide gas. Furthermore, a drug delivery system directly injects medication into this space. It acts on the scarred area, aiming to reconstruct the skin tissue.
TriFill Pro offers a new treatment option combining device-based subcision with drug injection, making it suitable for a wide range of skin concerns such as acne scars and enlarged pores.
Compared to conventional subcision treatment, it carries a lower risk.
TriFill Pro employs a different approach from conventional subcision treatments. Due to the characteristics of its procedure, it is characterized by relatively reduced burden during treatment and shorter downtime. Conventional subcision treatment involves physically cutting the fibrotic tissue beneath the skin with a needle, then injecting substances like hyaluronic acid or fat to lift the crater and prevent re-adhesion. On the other hand, Triphil Pro utilizes carbon dioxide to relatively gently separate fibrotic tissue, thereby reducing expected downtime. There are primarily four types of acne scar craters.

Cleansing
Please remove your makeup before the procedure. Cleanse and wash your face to remove sebum and impurities. If desired, anesthesia will be administered, and time will be allowed for it to take effect.

Aftercare
Immediately after the Tri-Fill Pro treatment, swelling may occur, but it typically subsides within 2 to 3 days.
