Did you know that doctor-developed cosmetics are actually great value for money?

Good evening! I'm Dr. Aya Hayama, a dermatologist, and I'm thrilled to introduce my beloved doctor's cosmetics!!

Some items are available for purchase at BIANCA's online shop, so please do check it out.

Actually, I'm one of those people who became hooked on the effects of doctor-developed cosmetics after discovering them about nine years ago.

Until then, I had been using department store cosmetics, even high-end brands, as a full line, but

💓The packaging is just so cute, and the scent really lifts my mood!💓

I really like that aspect, and feeling uplifted certainly contributes to vibrant skin. Of course, I have no intention of denying that it suits some people perfectly and that they enjoy using it.

However, from the perspective of a dermatologist or cosmetic dermatologist,High concentrations of various beauty ingredientsorWe deliberately remove unnecessary impurities so that even those with sensitive skin can enjoy anti-aging benefits.including popular brands available in storesMedical-exclusive products are being released.

Moreover, I can't help but think that doctor-developed cosmetics are highly effective, and when they're imported, they often come in large sizes, making them quite cost-effective.

As I've mentioned before in my Instagram posts, having served as the director of a dermatology clinic for many years, I've been introduced to various cosmetics from different companies. I've tried each one myself and provided the ones I found to be superior to my patients.

Based on our perspective as insurance-covered physicians regarding factors such as age and skin type, we have proposed cosmetics that are within a financially reasonable range.

Now, as for at home... I'll only introduce new products after I've used them all!

Given my serious personality, I only have one face, but of course my makeup is a huge traffic jam...💦

Eventually, I couldn't stick to one skincare line anymore and started choosing products based on the season and my skin's condition at the time.

→Actually, it's just like topical medications—this is my specialty, right!? That's what dermatologists who consider topical guidance their lifeblood think...

I've only recently realized this, and I've started to think again about what exactly I'm using regardless of manufacturer or brand.

So IFour Pillarsrealize that I'm using it as...

1⃣ Exfoliation

2. Vitamin C

3. Vitamin A

4. Other skin essentials, trends, etc.

(Please temporarily set aside concepts like cosmetics, serums, lotions, creams... for now!!)

Now, let's get a little more specific.

1⃣ Exfoliation

Cells pushed up from the basal layer through epidermal turnover pass through the spinous layer, undergo denucleation, and shed as keratinized cells.

If the epidermis is properly shedding and the dead skin cells are peeling off, there's no problem, but

What if sebum production beneath the epidermis becomes excessive, or if rubbing causes dead skin cells to clog pores, or if oil-heavy cosmetics clog pores?

What if your skin doesn't shed dead skin cells properly due to inadequate cleansing or aging?

This can lead to dullness, oily skin, and acne.

As someone who tends to get some acne, 1⃣ is an ingredient I always want to include.

Specifically,Enzymes, AHAs, lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acidI always use facial cleansers and lotions containing [ingredient].

For example, as a doctor-recommended cosmetic... here's a little introduction from Bianca Closet.

Peeling soap is mild enough for even elementary school students to use!

As you'd expect from a laser manufacturer, it also has cleansing power, so we keep this one in both the bathroom sink and shower area. The whole family uses it.

Gently exfoliating is also good when softening dead skin cells before cleansing. It's a dead skin cell care routine that boosts skin metabolism.

Lactic acid is gentle on the skin, which is why I think it's great for daily use.

Glycolic acid is also effective for improving wrinkles!

Due to its slightly higher concentration, it's ideal for spot treatment or as a weekly home peel!

2. Vitamin C

Some people are probably working hard on their beauty by taking vitamin C.

However, simply taking it orally only boosts the efficacy of substances like tranexamic acid and hythiol. It is primarily a crucial component for vascular endothelial cells (in fact, dermatologists sometimes prescribe it for vascular diseases like vasculitis). Of course, it is essential for every organ!!

In that case, it's said that only the excess amount reaches the skin, and the maximum amount the digestive tract can absorb is 3000 mg per day. Of course, since it's a water-soluble vitamin, it needs to be taken daily.

Additionally, while many associate vitamin C primarily with skin brightening, it actually serves as a building block for collagen and is essential for any skin-rejuvenating or tightening treatment. Plus, it's effective against redness!

Many are particularly effective for vasodilation, and we recommend water-soluble, amphiphilic, fat-soluble, or pure vitamin options depending on the target.

While oral intake is beneficial, please also consider adding high-concentration vitamin C IV drips and topical application through cosmetics to your options.

Speaking of Dr. Cosmetics #2... Here's a little introduction from Bianca Closet.

This dual-action product is gentle and a personal favorite! Effective against dark spots and redness without irritation!!

Amidst the crowded cosmetics section, I'm stocking up (lol)

3. Vitamin A

You might be more familiar with the term retinol,

From the weak

Retinyl palmitate or retinyl linoleate < Retinyl propionate < Retinyl acetate < Retinol < Retinal < Retinoic acid (Tretinoin)

Therefore, if possible, it would be ideal to incorporate retinyl palmitate into your daily routine as a preventive measure against photoaging.

ZeoSkin Health products offer a wide range of concentrations, including high-strength formulations for treating spots and melasma.

The Therapeutic program aims to completely eradicate age spots and melasma through a treatment-based approach!! Such is the bold statement from its founder, Dr. Zain Oba.

I've tried it several times myself, and it really does make your skin look incredibly beautiful! It also improves pores, so I think its appeal as a cosmetic product is that you can use it whenever you're concerned, for short periods, or just spot-treat areas once you get used to it.

Additionally, vitamin A can cause initial irritation, redness, and peeling in Japanese individuals, who are often said to be deficient in vitamin A. For such individuals, we also recommend using next-generation retinol derived from legumes, such as bakuchiol.

Speaking of Doctor's Cosmetics #3... Here's a little introduction from Bianca Closet

The left is retinyl palmitate, which we recommend using daily. The right is high-concentration retinol.

Left: Retinyl Palmitate + Retinol + Shea Butter Right: Retinyl Palmitate + Retinol

As mentioned above, even within the same brand, we may recommend different products based on texture differences, acne susceptibility, or seasonality.

4. Other

Enhances wound healing with exosomes, PDRN, and NMN; promotes soothing with CICA; features Japanese-origin tranexamic acid; and delivers potent brightening effects with hydroquinone and cystamine.

Since I've recently become interested in stem cells and exosomes, I'll share this with you again!!

We've introduced a few of the doctor-recommended cosmetics available at Bianca Closet.

I'm so glad I could write my blog again tonight 💕

Here's a personal musing from me, a dermatologist...

I'm starting to wonder if I'm becoming a bit of a doctor's cosmetics geek.

After years of insurance-covered treatments, I realized that cosmetics possess the same power as prescription ointments.

Of course, the treatment's effects are tremendous, as they further enhance the benefits of the beauty ingredients!!

Let us help you maximize the benefits of your treatment—enhancing its effectiveness and extending its results!

Beauty isn't built in a day. And persistence is power. 💕
