＜Postoperative Course＞
■Immediately after surgery to approximately 3 days
The period when swelling and bruising peak. Take measures such as cooling the eye area and sleeping with your head elevated.

■Postoperative Day 4 to 1 Week
This is the period when swelling and bruising gradually subside. Please avoid applying makeup to the incision area.

■2 weeks after surgery
The period when swelling and bruising have largely subsided. The eye area gradually returns to its pre-surgery state.

■1 month after surgery
The period when scars become less noticeable. Over time, the redness of the skin also fades further.

＜Postoperative Precautions＞
■Take thorough measures against swelling and bruising
To prevent swelling and bruising from worsening, please rest as much as possible. Immediately after surgery through the first 3 days, thoroughly cool the eye area and sleep on your back with a high pillow. Also, please refrain from strenuous exercise, long baths, and alcohol consumption.

■We also take infection control measures seriously.
Until the sutures are removed one week after surgery, take care to prevent infection at the surgical site. Apply makeup avoiding the scar and be careful not to touch the eye area.

■If it hurts, use pain relievers.
下瞼のたるみ取りで手術した部位が痛む場合は、処方された痛み止めを指示どおりに服用しましょう。痛み止めを服用しても強い痛みが持続したり、手術部位の腫れが強かったりするなどの症状がある場合は、すぐにご連絡ください。
