Hello! I'm Y, a nurse. 🌷
Since I personally underwent the Presave breast augmentation surgery, I’d like to share the appeal of this procedure while also including details about my own experience!
I hope this is helpful for anyone considering surgery ✨
What Is Presave Breast Augmentation?
"Preservé™" is a minimally invasive silicone implant breast augmentation procedure that utilizes breast tissue preservation technology developed by Motiva®. This procedure uses proprietary techniques and instruments to reshape and enlarge the breasts while preserving as much breast tissue and function as possible.
A 2.5cm incision is made beneath the breast. A specialized balloon is inserted beneath the mammary gland to expand the breast space, followed by insertion of the Motiva Smooth Silk Ergonomix 2® implant. This implant offers softness and stability, with the added benefit of being relatively less prone to inflammation. Furthermore, the silicone gel is engineered to adhere closely to the outer shell, reducing the risk of wrinkles or rippling forming on the shell surface. This ensures all areas adhere firmly, achieving natural movement. It is expected to provide a more natural appearance and maintain a beautiful shape over the long term.

Why I Chose Presave for My Breast Augmentation
I was on the slender side and didn't have much cleavage.
If I wore just a camisole with built-in cups, it was obvious that my bust was small, and unless I wore a padded bra that added volume, my figure looked too thin.
I was hesitant about the feel of silicone implants on my breasts and the risk of an unnatural appearance, so I hadn’t considered silicone breast implants at all. However, because I’m on the slim side, it’s difficult to harvest enough fat for fat transfer breast augmentation, so I’ve come to the conclusion that if I’m going to get breast augmentation, silicone is my only option.
When I was allowed to touch the breasts of another staff member who had undergone Presave breast augmentation, they felt very soft. Hearing her say she was satisfied with the surgery because it had given her a more feminine figure made me start thinking I’d like to have the procedure done myself.
Another thing that inspired me was when I tried on a summer dress I thought was cute—I found myself thinking, “If I had a fuller bust, I could pull off this dress on its own.”
Consultation on Silicone Implant Size and Shape
I had a consultation with Dr. Ikeda, who would be performing the surgery, and we decided on the size of the silicone implants.
Since I wanted a more natural look with some volume in the décolletage, I decided on the Motiva Mini, which has a flat shape.
With the Presave method, silicone is inserted through a 2.5-centimeter incision under the breast, which can sometimes limit the size of the implant.
After measuring my original breast size and the distance from my nipple to the lower edge of my breast to determine the feasible size, I requested the largest possible size, and we settled on 235 cc.
From the Day of Surgery Through the Postoperative Course
The surgery was performed under intravenous anesthesia and took about 30 minutes. Immediately afterward, I could tell my breasts had gotten bigger, which really lifted my spirits! The incision under my breasts was compressed and secured with gauze and tape, and I had a bust band wrapped around them. My breasts felt slightly warm to the touch. They also felt firm and swollen.
Immediately after the surgery, the anesthesia and pain medication in my IV were still working, so I didn’t feel much pain and was able to walk home from the train station. After that, I gradually started to feel pain as my skin stretched, but I was able to sleep after using a Voltaren suppository.
I took the day off work the day after the surgery. When I got up the next morning, I felt pain in the incision, and when I tried to move my arm even slightly, I felt a sharp, throbbing pain again.
For about a week after that, I felt the pain of my skin stretching, and the wound throbbed every time I walked, so I made sure to walk more slowly than usual. I went back to work two days later and continued working for about three days after the surgery while taking painkillers like Loxonin.
After a week, the pain had almost completely gone away, and I was able to walk at my usual pace again.
To prevent the wound from getting worse, I took a break from Pilates and was careful not to raise my arms to hang up the laundry.
I was so happy to see that my breasts actually had a nice shape just by wearing a camisole with built-in cups!! The photo below was taken about 10 days after the surgery. (I’m wearing a size S tube top from Uniqlo.)

After about two weeks, the swelling gradually subsided, and my appearance became more natural.
After a month, they’ve started to feel softer to the touch. The area under the breasts, in particular, feels even softer since there’s already some natural fat there.
The scar under my breast is still a little red, but since it’s hidden in the crease of my breast, it’s not very noticeable. I think it will gradually fade and become lighter in color.
After a month had passed, I went to a lingerie store to try on and buy a wireless bra, and asked the sales clerk to check my size. Before, I was wearing a D-cup that was a bit loose and required me to push my breasts together, but now I’ve gone up a size to an E-cup that fits snugly and creates a cleavage. Honestly, since it looked completely different, I wondered if I’d change even more, but my bra size had only gone up by one cup. Still, the way I look when I wear a bra has changed quite a bit, so I’m satisfied.
My Thoughts on the Surgery
Before the surgery, I was hesitant about silicone implants because I was worried they might look unnatural, but by choosing a size and shape that suited me, I was able to achieve a natural-looking result, and I’m very satisfied.
I also love how it adds volume all the way up to the décolletage.
My breasts—which used to be a source of insecurity when I looked at my naked body in the mirror—have gotten bigger, making me look more feminine and lifting my spirits.
The clothes and underwear I choose have changed, and I’m enjoying fashion even more now. I’m glad I had the surgery.
