Create the ideal double eyelid line
Our unique double eyelid burial method (back suture) B TWICE

B TWICE is BIANCA CLINIC's unique double eyelid suture method that uses a technique called back suture. Special needles and threads are used in the surgery, and the threads are passed through the conjunctiva on the back of the eyelid in an original way. Since the needles and threads are not passed through the front side of the eyelid, there are no scars or stitches on the front side of the eyelid, and the procedure reduces downtime such as swelling and internal bleeding.

Since it is a "non-incision double eyelid surgery" that does not use a scalpel to make incisions on the eyelids, it puts less strain on the body and can be recommended to patients of a wide range of ages, from high school students having double eyelid surgery for the first time to those in their 40s and 50s and above. It is also chosen not only by patients who want to change their single eyelids to double eyelids, but also by those whose previous suture method has come undone and those who originally had uneven double eyelid widths on the left and right.

Depending on the patient's concerns and wishes, we can also perform incisions on the outer and inner corners of the eyes and create glamorous lines at the same time as B TWICE.

Features

Characteristics

What is the double eyelid burial method (back suture) B TWICE?

Double suture method (back fastening) B TWICE is a type of double suture method that does not use a scalpel, but instead uses a special thread thinner than a hair to tie the levator muscle of the upper eyelid without passing a needle through the surface of the eyelid (levator muscle method) to create the ideal double line. Double suture method is a surgery that creates the ideal double line by threading the desired double eyelid, and is called the "suture method" because the thread is buried inside the eyelid so that it is not visible from the outside.

Furthermore, B TWICE uses a technique called back-fixing, which means that no needle holes are made on the surface of the eyelid. This means that you can wear makeup immediately after surgery. Since there are no thread balls (knots) on the surface of the eyelid, the result is a natural look even when you close your eyes. There is almost no downtime, and there is little worry that others will notice that you have had double eyelid surgery, making this one of the most popular double eyelid suture procedures performed at our clinic. There is little swelling or internal bleeding after surgery, so it is popular with people who usually wear light makeup and those who are interested in men's beauty.

Advice from Doctor BIANCA

Advice

Types and Effects of BIANCA CLINIC's Double Suture Method

In addition to B TWICE, the double eyelid suture methods available at BIANCA CLINIC include "2-point suture", "4-point suture", "cross-link method" and "multiple knot". Each suture method has its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, so the doctor will consider and suggest which suture method to use based on the patient's eyelid condition and wishes.

1) 2-point and 4-point fastening
This is a standard suture method, and patients can choose between two-point or four-point sutures depending on the condition of their eyelids and the double eyelid line they desire.
Advantages: It is easy to design the ideal double eyelid line, such as a natural, wide double eyelid, a clear parallel double eyelid, a deep-set double eyelid, or a wide double eyelid.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for extremely wide double eyelids or eyelids with severe sagging

2) Cross-linking method
This is a special suture method that uses a special technique to prevent the disappearance of the double eyelid line and prevent it from recurring as much as possible.
Advantages: Less likely to come off than other burial methods
Disadvantages: Not suitable for extremely wide double eyelids or eyelids with severe sagging

3) Multiple knots
This is a buried suture method that provides strong and durable fixation because it uses many knots (6 points) and double thread.
Advantages: Recommended for those with thick eyelids, puffy eyelids, or those who want to redo the double eyelid surgery done at another clinic
Disadvantages: If you are not satisfied with the results, it is a little more difficult to remove the thread and redo it than with other burial methods.

Difference between double eyelid burial method and double eyelid incision method

There are two main types of double eyelid surgery: the suture method and the incision method. The suture method uses thread to create a double eyelid line without making an incision with a scalpel, while the incision method uses a scalpel to create a double eyelid line.

The main differences between the two are the length of downtime, surgery time, and duration.

[Double burial method]

Downtime: Approximately 2 weeks

Surgery time: about 10-15 minutes

Duration: 5 years, approximately 50% persistence

[Double eyelid incision method]

Downtime: Approximately 3 months

Surgery time: about 60-90 minutes

Duration: Semi-permanent

Because the downtime is short and corrections are possible, the suture method is recommended for those who are new to cosmetic surgery or double eyelid surgery. On the other hand, we may suggest considering the incision method for those who want to maintain a stable double eyelid for a long time or who have thick eyelids for which the suture method is difficult to apply.

Postoperative progress of double eyelid burial method (back suture) B TWICE

Although it varies from person to person, swelling and other symptoms may occur after the procedure. In most cases, this will subside within about a week, but in rare cases, it may take up to a month to settle down. Also, due to swelling and swelling, the double eyelid line may appear wider than desired, and it will take about a month for it to look natural. Depending on how the swelling appears, there may be a difference between the left and right double eyelid lines, but this is not a problem as it will gradually settle down.
Bleeding will disappear within 1 to 2 weeks, and if bleeding occurs in the whites of the eyes, it will usually disappear within 2 to 3 weeks. Bleeding may occur from the wound for 2 days after surgery, so please gently press the area around your eyes with clean gauze or tissue.
On the day of the procedure, apply a cooling sheet to your forehead to keep your eyelids cool and dry, and try to sleep on your back with a high pillow for a few days after the procedure. Be careful not to pull or rub your eyes too hard for one week after the procedure, and try to rest your eyes by avoiding reading or detailed work as much as possible until you have calmed down.
