Each suture method has its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, so the doctor will consider and suggest which suture method to use based on the patient's eyelid condition and wishes.

1) 2-point and 4-point fastening
This is a standard suture method, and patients can choose between two-point or four-point sutures depending on the condition of their eyelids and the double eyelid line they desire.
Advantages: It is easy to design the ideal double eyelid line, such as a natural, wide double eyelid, a clear parallel double eyelid, a deep-set double eyelid, or a wide double eyelid.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for extremely wide double eyelids or eyelids with severe sagging

2) Cross-linking method
This is a special suture method that uses a special technique to prevent the disappearance of the double eyelid line and prevent it from recurring as much as possible.
Advantages: Less likely to come off than other burial methods
Disadvantages: Not suitable for extremely wide double eyelids or eyelids with severe sagging

3) Multiple knots
This is a buried suture method that provides strong and durable fixation because it uses many knots (6 points) and double thread.
Advantages: Recommended for those with thick eyelids, puffy eyelids, or those who want to redo the double eyelid surgery done at another clinic
Disadvantages: If you are not satisfied with the results, it is a little more difficult to remove the thread and redo it than with other burial methods.

Because the downtime is short and corrections are possible, the suture method is recommended for those who are new to cosmetic surgery or double eyelid surgery. On the other hand, we may suggest considering the incision method for those who want to maintain a stable double eyelid for a long time or who have thick eyelids for which the suture method is difficult to apply.

Although it varies from person to person, swelling and other symptoms may occur after the procedure. In most cases, this will subside within about a week, but in rare cases, it may take up to a month to settle down. Also, due to swelling and swelling, the double eyelid line may appear wider than desired, and it will take about a month for it to look natural. Depending on how the swelling appears, there may be a difference between the left and right double eyelid lines, but this is not a problem as it will gradually settle down.
Bleeding will disappear within 1 to 2 weeks, and if bleeding occurs in the whites of the eyes, it will usually disappear within 2 to 3 weeks. Bleeding may occur from the wound for 2 days after surgery, so please gently press the area around your eyes with clean gauze or tissue.
On the day of the procedure, apply a cooling sheet to your forehead to keep your eyelids cool and dry, and try to sleep on your back with a high pillow for a few days after the procedure. Be careful not to pull or rub your eyes too hard for one week after the procedure, and try to rest your eyes by avoiding reading or detailed work as much as possible until you have calmed down.
