Features

Characteristics

What is the Advatex Laser (ADVATx®)?

The ADVATx® laser is a multi-laser device equipped with two wavelengths, 589nm and 1319nm. These two wavelengths have different characteristics, and by using a single wavelength or combining the two wavelengths depending on the purpose, it can be used for a wide range of treatments, from acne and redness of vascular systems to pigmentation and skin care.
It is especially specialized in treating acne and redness, and has been approved by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) and the European CE mark for 25 types of skin conditions. It is used for a variety of skin treatments around the world.

Equipped with two wavelength lasers

The two lasers, 589nm and 1319nm, which are the biggest features of Advatex Laser, are each good at the following approaches.

<589nm>
The 589nm wavelength is characterized by its ability to react easily to redness caused by acne and capillaries. This supports the contraction of dilated capillaries, working on vascular skin conditions such as redness, rosacea, and telangiectasia. It is also expected to kill acne bacteria and suppress inflammation, making it useful for treating red, inflamed acne. Furthermore, due to its ability to act on inflammation and its ability to react easily to melanin, it can also be used to treat melasma and inflammatory pigmentation.

<1319nm>
The 1319nm laser has a long wavelength that reaches deep into the dermis layer. It is expected to promote collagen production and address skin concerns such as lack of radiance and firmness, fine wrinkles, and enlarged pores.
It also works to prevent excess sebum secretion, helping to prevent acne. It can also be used for skin care and anti-aging care, improving uneven skin texture and bringing you closer to beautiful skin.

Minimally invasive laser that is gentle on the skin

The Advatex laser uses an irradiation method called "Soft Pulsing." This does not emit a single strong pulse like conventional lasers, but emits a continuous stream of minute pulses in nanosecond units. This mechanism makes it possible to deliver heat energy while minimizing irritation to the skin, which leads to a reduction in discomfort such as pain and heat during treatment.

Furthermore, the "soft pulsing method" uses a wide range of fine dot-shaped lasers, making the treatment relatively minimally stressful to the skin and resulting in minimal downtime. Previous laser treatments for redness and hemangiomas have been criticized for their risk of purpura formation and long downtime. In this regard, the Advatex laser is popular with those new to laser treatments and those who are not comfortable with them.

Advice from Doctor BIANCA

Advice

Total care is possible, from acne treatment to recurrence prevention!

The Advatex Laser is a laser device that specializes in acne treatment. Its strength is its ability to treat inflammatory acne and acne that has not improved with conventional treatments. What's more, the great appeal of the Advatex Laser is that it can not only treat existing acne, but also treat redness and acne scars, and even prevent acne recurrence, all with one device. This comprehensive acne treatment is made possible thanks to the dual-wavelength laser.

Specifically, the 589nm laser first targets the inflammation, redness, and acne bacteria of existing acne and acne scars, while the 1319nm laser works to reduce excess sebum secretion and tighten pores, aiming for skin that is less prone to acne recurrence in the medium to long term.
If you have been suffering from acne for many years, especially if you want to treat red acne, facial redness, and acne scars such as PIE*, we recommend you try the Advatex Laser.

*PIE…Post-inflammatory erythema

One of the few lasers that can also be used to treat melasma

The Advatex laser also reacts to inflammation and melanin, so it can be expected to be effective on melasma and inflammatory pigmentation. However, some people familiar with cosmetic medicine may think that "melasma = laser treatment is not OK!"
It is true that conventional high-power lasers can worsen melasma symptoms in sensitive skin, so it was thought that they should be avoided. However, the Advatex laser is FDA-approved for use in melasma treatment. It aims to improve melasma while being mindful of skin irritation through soft pulsing irradiation.

Supports spot irradiation! Enables intensive care

The Advatex laser's spot diameter can be reduced to approximately 1mm, allowing for pinpoint irradiation of conditions such as capillary dilation and senile hemangiomas. Because heat energy is applied only to the affected area, intensive care can be performed while minimizing the impact. Spot irradiation requires careful assessment of the treatment area and skill, so it is performed by a doctor. Since it requires less treatment time than full-face or partial irradiation, it is suitable for those who want to treat only the areas of concern in a short amount of time.
